Sew-Much-Love.com Review – Is It a Scam?

Is Sew Much Love a discount retail scam?

That is the answer you will be able to determine by the end of this review.

Before we get started, you should know, Sew Much Love does not share any ownership information or identifying information so they operate anonymously.

This is not a good indicator from the start but with this in mind, let’s dive in and investigate further into what some people are calling the sew-much-love scam.

A Message From The Owner Behind The REAL SewMuchLove.com

Wanted to say thanks again for writing this article!
Some good news, I was able to get my photos, layout, and logo removed from their website so now it looks like all the other scam sites!
If there was a way you could update the blog to say they had stolen from a real independent artist that would be awesome.
Also since the layout has changed it makes it look like you are calling my real website scam, it would be greatly appreciated if you could update the photos to their current layout or remove them.
I am afraid this could harm my reputation of people google my name and see the photos posted here that they’ll get confused and think I am the scam site 😞

Thank you again so much for being quick and writing this article when the website appeared.

A message from the writer behind this blog: Sew-Much-Love is a scam site that has stolen images and information from a real legitimate online retailer (SewMuchLoveClothing.com). It is disheartening to see such acts of dishonesty and deception and our only hope is that not only are the consumers warned regarding the rip-off scams pretending to be SewMuchLoveClothing but that Kaiya, of the real SewMuchLoveClothing site, is not negatively affected. Please show the real site some support and thank you again for trusting ScamFinance. – ken

No Ownership or Identifying Details

Sew-much-love appears to be an authentic site to the untrained consumer eye.

The site echos a clean interface, decently crisp product images, and their origin story cannot be linked with other online scams that we’ve exposed in the past.

Located in the header of the site would be “Handmade From The Heart,” implying to consumers that all goods are handmade.

You should know, however, if you right-click over the product images featured on their product category pages and select “Search Google for Image” you will notice how a multitude of other sites also reflect the same products.

So much for being authentic and quote-on-quote handmade.

To add, the site does not share any ownership information.

No corporate entity, telephone number or physical address may be found.

We guess that transparency is not in the best interest of Sew Much Love.

The only information we found would be the email address cs@sew-much-love.com but who knows if it’s operational or not – we doubt it is.

Bad Online Trust Rating

Sew Much Love is a recently crafted site and does not reflect any positive reviews online.

In addition, the site reflects a bad online trust rating with scam doc and it would be wise to consider avoiding this site until a transparent history of positive verifiable reviews can be found.

Some sites have gone on to state that Sew Much Love is likely a scam.

Analysis of Site

Sew-much-love was created on March 25th, 2020.

Sadly, the site was registered with a privacy package, therefore, we cannot find any reference to who may be responsible for this site.

Red Flags & Warning Signs

  1. No ownership information
  2. No physical address is shared
  3. Products do not appear handmade
  4. The site echos a bad online trust rating
  5. The site was created less than 1 month ago
  6. Operators try to conceal their identity from shoppers

There are just too many red flags and this is something that should be weighed carefully before conducting a purchase with any online site.

We invite you to share your feedback and thoughts below.

  1. I’m SO UPSET to see this. I’ve modeled for this company and the owner is an absolute treasure. She is so talented and as someone who has worn multiple of her outfits I can attest to their factuality. Sew Much Love originated many designs that people steal constantly. Whoever wrote this should be ashamed of themselves.

    1. Hi Nikki,

What would you suggest we do, Nikki?
We are bringing awareness to a scam site that is stealing the owner’s company style and pawning them off as their own.
Many people report being scammed by the Sew-Much-Love.com imposter scam site – our job is to help protect our readers.
This is not the FAULT of the true owner behind the legitimate company, as you can see her comment beneath yours below.
Do you feel that it is better to take down the review, to NOT bring awareness to the other imposter scam – note how the URL is different.
Additionally, the feedback that we have received tells the whole story, there is an imposter scam site fleecing consumers out of their money.
We’ve seen this countless times with other reputable retailers such as Nike, Adidas, Birkenstock, Garmin, Lego, Ralph Polo Lauren, etc.
The list goes on! So please advise us on what you feel is best.

      Thanks!

  2. This is definitely a scam and buyers should go over to the REAL SewMuchLoveClothing.com website to purchase high-quality, handmade clothing!! I don’t know how people can steal the name, pictures, logos, and business from hardworking people and still live with themselves. DO NOT BUY from sew-much-love.com

  3. This is a scam and this site needs to be taken down. Kaiya is the hardest working person I know and whoever made this fake site is trying to rip her off !

  4. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! The real creator of these clothes is Kiaya Waler(my apologies if spelt wrong) from SEWMUCHLOVECLOTHING.COM! I have many of her real creations and they are AMAZING!

  5. Scam website, do not give it the time of day! The only place to buy quality handmade slow fashion is @ SewMuchLoveClothing.com lovingly made by Kaiya Waler

  6. This website is definitely a scam. It’s very clear they stole photos from the orginal Sew Much Love, an independent designer who has worked very hard to create beautiful sustainable fashion. It’s sad that people can do this and get away with it.

  7. Nothing but a scam here. Stolen images, text and captions all from the real creator sewmuchloveclothing.com, plus a whole bunch of other handmade artists once you click to purchase. This websites needs to be shut down

  8. How are they getting away with copy right infringement and blatant stealing of not only product images but the company name of a real online store? sewmuchloveclothing.com

    Total scammers

  9. Stolen from the REAL sewmuchloveclothing.com
Who is a genuinely brilliant artist. Many other images stolen from individual slow fashion makers on Instagram etc.

  10. This website is a scam . They stole a website (sewmuchloveclothing.com) from a very credible independent artists and are now trying to make money off her designs. They send people really low quality products that look nothing like the pictures advertised because they are not ! There is only one place to buy Sew much love clothing and it’s from Kaiya herself !

  11. Samantha Rains

This website is a total Scam! They are stealing designs and images (even images of the true owner & designer herself) from SewMuchLoveClothing.com. This is a scam and they should pay with then penalty of the law.

  12. It’s a scam! The real clothing website is SewMuchLoveClothing.com
You can find there beautiful handmade stuff and you can contact the owner directly. Check the instagram profile: sew_much_love_clothing

  13. Scam website ripping off high-quality slow fashion designers using photos that belong to the real designers. Disgusting. Don’t buy garbage, don’t get scammed.

  14. This site is a scam! It is using stolen images from SewMuchLoveClothing.com without the owners consent, and is advertising products they do not make.

  15. Diana Gutierrez

Definitely a Scam! You can see the complaints on FB and Instragram reviews were people have bought from this site and have never received their product! You cannot get a hold of anyone! They stole from the true owner. They stole her site, advertise and her pictures. I buy from the correct owner of SewMuchLoveClothing.com and I know this is a scam! They scam with low prices! That does not compare to the quilty of the hand made product! They make multiple sites to throw you off or when you block them! I have seen multiple sites with the same pictures and name just spelled different. They change the site a bit(not much) when they get reported! Really wrong and frustrating that they are taking away from the true owner of this product and site! Please take down! SCAM SCAM SCAM! Many people on Facebook and Instagram have wasted money and have been scammed by their actions! They have been reported through all sites and still continue to steal from the artist!

  16. THIS WEBSITE IS FAKE, IT HAS COMPLETELY STOLEN EVERYTHING FROM MY FAVORITE DESIGNER, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!!! The REAL Kaiya behind the REAL Sew Much Love makes high quality, sustainable clothing; her work stands at the very top of slow fashion designers. Find the REAL Sew Much Love, not this crappy rip off! Its disgusting that people do this to hard working artists.

  17. This is a total scam! Not reputable! They are ripping off a young women who runs an small business and it needs to stop!!

  18. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE!!! Photos are stolen from sew much love, Crossfox, wildhorse apparel and others. You will not receive what you appear to be ordering.

  19. This is a scam! The real creator is Kaiya, her website is SewMuchLoveClothing.com . Buy from the real artist! Her clothes are AMAZING and worth every penny! If you order from that company you will most certainly NOT get what they are advertising!!!!!!!

  20. This site is a scam. It is a direct copy of a legitimate business and people are losing money via the trickery.

  21. This website is a scam! They have stolen the images, website/business name AND logo from the original slow fashion artist, Kaiya of Sewmuchloveclothing. They are stating their clothing is made in Oregon which is a LIE. It is being mass produced in China and you will not receive anything even remotely close to the quality seen in the stolen images (that is if you even receive your order).

  22. It is totally a scam! They stole the home images and logo from SewMuchLove CLOTHING.com – but in the shop section have items also from Crossfox, Pocalunas to name a few, just like all of those other scam sites around.

  23. This site is most definitely A SCAM. The AUTHENTIC website is from Kaiya Waler at sewmuchloveclothing.com. That is the only place to get her handmade creations- and this fake site is ruining her online business as it’s tricking people by having stole her actual designs and aspects of her website to use on theirs. Again, the real site is sewmuchloveclothing.com – and it’s the only place to buy her handmade creations.

  24. This is a scam! They are stealing photos of her design which she hand makes ALL of them, and then selling knock offs that’s look nothing like her actual work. This sight needs to be shut down!!!!

  25. This is a scam website; it was stolen and copied from a real artist sewmuchloveclothing.com where the artist (Kaiya) has been running her online handmade clothing company for many years. I have purchased clothing from Kaiya before and the quality is top notch and definitely is worth the price. Unlike this scam website which will not be sending you clothes that look like the pictures. Like I said, this page was stolen and copied and is a scam. Visit sewmuchloveclothing.com for the real website and the real designer.

  26. This site is a scam! They took the REAL artists website (REAL website can be found at SewMuchLoveClothing.com) which has been up for 5 years.
This scam site should be taken down immediately to avoid confusing potential buyers away from this small business and tarnishing their reputation.
Do not buy from sew-much-love.com- you will not be getting the real thing.

  27. It’s a scam!!! They stole my cover page and details from my actual handmade clothing website
    SewMuchLoveClothing.com

I’m trying to get them shut down because they could ruin my reputation. I’ve been running my website for over 5 years now.
