CashNetUSA Reviews – A Scam? (2019 Update)

If you’re in quick need of cash or are experiencing a crisis in your life, securing an online loan can help you bridge the gaps until the tides have turned back into your favor.

Online payday lenders and installment loan providers tend to be one of the most pursued avenues for prospective online borrowers despite their loan rates and fees.

CashNetUSA may be able to help to bridge this gap if you are experiencing a sudden influx for cash flow, although you should know more regarding their offers prior to committing.

This what the aim of this honest review is for, to provide you with the insight required to accurately formulate whether CashNetUSA is right for you, or not.

With this in mind, let’s dive in.

CashNetUSA Oversight

CashNetUSA borrowing sums, loan rates and fees differ depending upon which state you reside within the United States.

Two type of loan products are offered through CashNetUSA.

Payday loans and installment loans.

Payday loans operate within a much more constrained time frame, and typically consist of higher loan rates/fees.

Installment loans on the other hand are considered by some as your medium-length loan option, payment options typically occur on a monthly basis up to 6 to 12 months.

With CashNetUSA their installment loans must be paid in full over 180 days (6 months) or less.

Inability to make payments on time will result in late fees and potential reporting to collections.

Shared below are a few of the most recent consumer reviews we found:

Roy G. – “I recently (July15- August 1, 2019) made payments totaling roughly $900 on a $2,800 loan I had incurred with CashNetUSA. My balance dropped to between $2,600- $2,700 for the August 15, 2019 pay cycle. However, before the next payment was drafted, my account balance rose to roughly $2,845. Moreover, I would receive the next bill 3-4 days BEFORE my payment posted. That means I was being charged EXTRA INTEREST while my payments were clearing the bank. I called to complain about this, and I was told “No manager was available” to talk to. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT.”

Karen of Troy, MO – “I was very pleased with the convenience and how quickly everything went threw. No hassles! No delays! I would recommend to my friends and family. I needed the money fast and everything went smoothly and was in my account when you said it would.”

Ella P. – “Cashnet USA is a bunch of loan sharks. Legally they shouldn’t be
able to run a business like that. They are ripping off people. BBB
you all should stop this practice. It should be illegal.”

CashNetUSA Complaints

CashNet USA reflects a diverse collection of complaints.

These complaints appear to stem from steep loan rates, unsolicited and misleading loan approval letters, and less than satisfactory customer support.

HighYa possesses the biggest assortment of complaints on the web.

Shared below are a few of the most relevant complaints we found:

Gary B. – “I’m  so glad I read these reviews before I went for this loan. I really don’t believe this is real. I was asking for a $5,000 personal loan they said no problem, the rates sounded good, $147 a month for 24 months. So they go ahead and deposit $800 in my account and they wanted to send it back the next day, this was to ensure I was who I said I was. Guess what? The next day I call my back and they say the funds are bogus. I call their Sr rep Johnny Johnson, hmmm. So I call him, he says he’ll get back to me. The next day he tells me they want me to make 2 months payments before depositing the pan payment. I say to him I’ve never heard such a thing, I tell him your $800 deposit was no good and now you want me to send you 2 payments before I see a dime from you guys when your first check didn’t clear? He pretty much said take it or leave it. I hope this wasn’t too long, all I can say is I hope somebody reads this and heeds my warning, don’t do it under any circumstances. And I’m pretty desperate…”

Allan M. – “CashNetUSA are nothing but dishonest. They can take advantage of people on a limited income. These people have taken payments out whenever they want to, knowing I don’t get paid until the beginning of the month. I had extensions and they never told me on the phone or email that I did not have any more. So now my bank account is in the red due to these people who think they are doing us a favor. Do not get a loan from this business, they will only mess you up in more ways than one.”

Ryan G. – “I promise you, there is no reason that is terrible enough for you to take out a loan with this company. I don’t care how dire your situation seems, it is not worth it! The interest rates are at nearly 400 percent. I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy! It should be illegal to charge such rates. AGAIN, I promise that no matter what is going on, there is NO ADEQUATE REASON for accepting a loan from this company!”

Positive reviews can be found at ConsumerAffairs.

As we stated earlier, the complaints versus fair-natured reviews are pretty clustered.
