DrainStix Reviews

We investigating into DrainStix we were only able to find 1 relevant review with consumer feedback.

Shared below are a couple of reviews we found at ReviewOPedia.com.

“I never received my order!!! Ordered Nov. 28th 2018 and your phone number is disconnected!!!! WTF!!! Someone better call me asap!!!”

“DrainStix do not dissolve, but leave behind a rubbery expanded stick which helps to clog the drain. The company indicates that the product gets rid of clogs and completely cleans the drains. If that were actually true, stop and think about how long it takes for brand new drains to clog up, and then think about their recommendation that you keep putting these in every month. Personally, it took nearly 15 years for the drains to need some attention in my new house. Many users of this product have had severe clogs and pulled out a number of these expanded rubbery stick aiding the clog, and relieving their pocket book of cash.”

Another consumer commented beneath the last testimonial above on January 9th, 2019 stating that the toll free number of DrainStix was out of service.

I purchased two packages of DrainStix – when they arrived, all but one stik was broken. I contacted customer service by e-mail to ask if I could use them broken like that, they said yes. So, I went ahead and put them in my two slow-running drains. There has been absolutely no improvement whatsoever in these two slow-running drains. Accordingly, I have no choice but to believe that the DrainStix people are selling a product that does not perform as they say it will. Steer clear!

In the beginning of this ad it says Drainstix are $13. When I go to purchase, I am told $12.95 is 50% off! Reallly? I would love to try this product but refuse to purchase from a company that engages in false, or at the very least, misleading advertising. Would have purchased it for the $12.95 had I not been promised 50% off of $13 earlier. And funny, but their comment area on the order form will not allow a negative review. In looking further, I found them at Walmart for $5.99!

My bath tube clog is still there . I had cleaned out hair with my fingers. Used another drainstix which my drain still got clog. The water did turn a pretty blue , but who wants back up blue water.
Return policy is not good. Customer service on phone, poor. I did get email telling me they will refund 65% of cost.

I ordered a single pack to try these to see if they would in fact address my slow drain problems. Like another person who made a comment I received an open package and all the sticks were broken, some pieces as small as 3/4″. I tried to email customer service, but my email came back as undeliverable because their mailbox is full. I’m so glad I only ordered 1 package because after reading further I will most likely just throw them away and chalk it up to “fool me once… “

I ordered two packages, and one package arrived open as if old, and all the sticks were out of the package. Most of the stixs were broken in pieces which wouldn’t be good to put down the drain. I will email them and see how they handle this. Will keep you updated.

If consumers, would get under their vanities and cabinets, they can locate the plunger that makes the sink plug go up and down. Thru examination, they can disconnect this plunger and pull the sink plug from the sink drain. Get a long wire, put it down the drain, clean out any hair or clogging particles. Then use an old tooth brush, scrape your pipe drain sides…. Now get back under the vanity or sink and put the disconnected pieces back together. Your problem should be solved….. until next time.

I saw the reviews on ReviewOPedia.com before I came to this website. Part of the problem on ReviewOPedia.com is that the phone number they have for Drainstix is wrong. The number you have on this site seems to be the right one.
