Needcorn Review – Part of a Fraudulent Shop Network

Needcorn dot com is an online shop which products in the following niches:

  • Automobile
  • Bikes
  • Health & Beauty
  • Home and Gadgets
  • Men Fashion
  • Phone Accessories
  • Toys and Game
  • Watches
  • Women Fashion

Much of their traffic comes from people looking to buy a jet body board.

Some of the listed prices however seem too good to be true though which made us wonder if Needcorn could be a scam.

To find out if you can trust Needcorn or whether it’s another retail scam, read on!

Preliminary Checks

The domain was registered on January 19, 2021 for one year. This report was written on July 27, 2021 so more than six months have passed.

However, it has not yet gained a large following and remains a fringe shopping site.

Also, the fact that is was only registered for one year is worrying. Compare with which will expire in October 2024 and eBay in August 2022. Reputable sites purchase their domains for a long period not just to make use of the discount they can thereby receive, but also because they know they will be around and that the domain will retain its value even if they don’t.

The only website linking to is a review site similar to Trust Pilot:

In 6 months no one endorsed by giving them a backlink, which is not a good sign…

Now, we’re ready to visit the website.

Who is behind Needcorn?

According to WHOIS data, the company behind Needcorn is called Hugecorn and they are based in Virginia, US. The exact contact details are hidden.

There’s no About us page, but there is some contact information:

  • Telephone: 202-900-0238 (a Washington DC number)
  • A contact form
  • Address: 6241 Backlick Rd Springfield, VA 22150 (does not seem to be a valid address)
  • Email: /

Other than that nothing. No LinkedIn or any other social media profiles. No valid, verifiable address.

When we visit their Privacy Policy we discover something worrying. We’re not talking about the fact that they left placeholders in a most amateurish fashion, but to the first sentence of the text:

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from (the “Site”).

Obviously, the text was taken from a different website,, which we will investigate in the next section (under the NeedCorn Review Conclusion heading).

Finally, remember there’s truth in the old saying that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

To take one example, their Jet Body Board is listed with an $84.95 price tag, while the real product which they copied appears to be a Kymera Electric Jet Body Board which costs $3,899.

Then there’s the Full E Drift Tricycle listed for $99.99. This product is another fake which they stole from Sway Motorsports. In fact, these fake ads may be quite common since we found the following question in the FAQ at

Q: I’m seeing ads for Sway for $150 or less! Is this real or too good to be true?

A: Alas, these ads are fake. Sway will come with state-of-the-art lithium-ion batteries and high-end components for years of durable use, so there is no way we could sell them for so little. As we mention at the top of our page, Sway vehicles are not currently available to purchase anywhere in the world, and can only be reserved through this website. Any other website purporting to offer a Sway vehicle for sale is either offering an unauthorized and potentially dangerous knockoff, or is a complete scam. Sway Motorsports takes no responsibility for orders placed or money paid through any such unauthorized and unaffiliated website.

By now we are quite certain that is a scam. What about some feedback from people who bought from them?

One person left the following review at

Don’t buy its scam . Fraud . They don’t replie or give shipping tracking . Fake ! I have been waiting 4 months

TrustPilot also received several complaints, including:

this is a scam company that only cheats customer’s money. I have made a purchase of goods almost 3 months ago. now the goods do not arrive. I also can’t see the status of my purchase.

This company is a fraud. You can’t follow your account on the net. It says that the product has been sent, and the tracking number and product invoice are not given. The customer representative does not answer the questions. Do not shop.

Needcorn Review Conclusion

In the process of investigating NeedCorn, we have discovered a whole network of fraudulent websites selling items for cheap prices, taking the money, and disappearing. They are simply thieves.

Other sites which may be part of this network include:
