BigSpot.com Review

BigSpot (BigSpot.com) is an online paid survey site that was registered back in 2008 by a corporation known as VarsityPlaza LLC.

BigSpot.com Review

Big Spot portrays their operation as a simplistic online survey site that compensates their participants for their opinions. Claiming to operate as an online paid survey site, our thorough investigation has painted an entirely different picture.

Prospective consumers looking to become members with Big Spot are prompted to divulge there personal information from the start such as email address, date of birth, gender, ethnicity and residing country.

Once you have submitted your personal information, you will be redirected to a screen that possesses a list of different survey companies that will allegedly compensate you for your time. Which now brings up the question of whether or not Big Spot is actually just a paid survey matching service or actually a legitimate paid survey site like they claim.

Funny thing though, those who have reported continuing going on with Big Spots recommended paid survey sites report that all sites have collected their personal information and only then referred them to other online paid survey sites.

No surveys have been offered most of the time it appears while those operations that have supported paid surveys have ignored all their members requests for withdrawals.

According to Big Spot’s Terms and Conditions, their website is operated by a corporation known as VarsityPlaza LLC. According to the Better Business Bureau, VarsityPlaza reflects a poor composite score, is not BBB accredited and has a disclosed address of 44095 Pipeline Plaza, Suite 330, Ashburn, VA 20147 and a telephone number of (800) 280-4947.

BigSpot.com Scam

We were quickly dissatisfied when we were browsing the Big Spot domain and researching further into its legitimacy. Claiming to “never share your information without your authorization as explained in our privacy policy,” appears to be the exact opposite of what Big Spot has been reported doing in the consumer eye.

RipOffReport and SiteJabber are two such sites that have a multitude of negative consumer complaints regarding BigSpot.com.

Among the most common reports would be spam emails, mistreatment of disclosed personal information, failure to receive compensation and the strong assertion that Big Spot is a scam.

According to SimiliarWeb, Big Spot’s domain had a global rank of 338,422 with a US rank of 70,772 as of February 2018. As indicated in the market intelligence report, Big Spot has suffered a significant drop-off in monthly visitor traffic while about 87.57% of the sites traffic comes from US based users.

Many assertions from numerous past Big Spot members have reported that bigspot.com is not compensating their users and is unethically selling their information to unknown parties.

Given the information disclosed above coupled with consumer complaints reporting unethical business practices, we do not feel that Big Spot is trustworthy.
