  1. Same issues
Ordered 30th August and have received nothing at all. Guess I won’t be receiving anything or my money back!!!
How could Facebook let these companies advertise if they are ripping people off ??

    1. They are awful. I want them to be taken down completely. I reported them to Facebook two times. I never got my money back. They would not allow me to return. My emails from them clearly made it known they were unprofessional and a fake site.

  2. This was the ridiculous email I got back from them! Clearly a scam!
Friend, we judge that you are chosen the wrong size by yourself. We do not bear the return shipping cost.

Return shipping costs you need to bear, about $45-$55. Even more. We do not recommend you return.

Can you consider accepting our $10 compensation and then keep your items?

This will reduce the loss of both of us.

If you insist on returning, the package will take a long time and easy to lose, which will delay a lot of time. Let us solve this matter as soon as possible, we are so sorry, but we hope you can understand.

Waiting for you good new 🙂

  3. Their response when trying to return items to get a refund. I purchased through PayPal and really hoping to get my money back.

    to me

We are sorry to hear that ,but as our policy states, our customers are responsible for the returning shipping fee if they want to return/ exchange the item because the item they choose did’n meet their expectation. So maybe you will need to know about shipment fee to Nanjing city Jiangsu province in China.
All items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, odorless with all tags attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered, will not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
Would it be a considerable solution if we refund $7 to your payment account as compensation while you keep the items and send them to your friends or Charity as a gift?Normally fully refund require too much time (about 1 month shipment + 1 month accounting issue). We usually offer credits or partial refund as compensation which is way faster an easy.
    Best regards

    Lea

  4. Y’all! They literally cut the tags out of the suits so I couldn’t see the sizes! At this point, all I could do was laugh and be super disappointed in myself. Basically they will just mail you whatever they have so if you ordered a large, prepare to put the swimsuit on and it be an Extra Small-YOU DID NOT GAIN WEIGHT!

  5. Tammie Steinkirchner

BEWARE!!! All the items I received were DEFECTIVE. Should have done research before buying from them.

  6. Would this happen to be the same company as modbikinisonline.com? I’ve contact them and paypal to get a refund. I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering.

    1. Yes it’s the same company. They added an “S” to the end of their name. Probably because they were being figured out. They also added to their refund policy and it now says that you cannot return swimsuits… just below where it talks about their awesome return policy. It’s all a scam. So disappointed in myself. I’m trying all the avenues to report that it’s scam but it’s hard to do it with this company.

Terrible experience. I bought 3 swimsuits. It took more than 2 months for the delivery. Two of the swimsuits did not fit – one was 39 in of bust while I ordered a 32-34! I sent them a picture of the wrong sized swimsuits and they offered 8$ in refund if I kept them. I rejected the offer and they offered 10$, than 15$ and 17$. I referred them to their own return policy but they won’t honour it. Stay away from ModBikini.

    1. The same thing just happened to me. I reported their company as fraud to my credit card company. Hopefully they do an investigation. They kept saying that it would be too much money for me to ship it back to china. I said I didn’t care and I’d ship it and they still keep saying they won’t accept the return and that they can only give me 24.00 for my purchase of 60.00. It’s a bunch of bull.

  8. I had a horrible experience as well!! I wish I would have followed my normal instinct to check reviews!! I feel awful! I ordered 2 swimsuits and was soo excited. They weren’t even the same suits as in the picture. Different colors and different designs even! Not even close to what I ordered! I asked to return them for a full refund and they offered me $5 and told me to donate the swimsuits. They won’t honor their own website policy. It’s no wonder they have no reviews on their actual website. Complete scam!! So upsetting! 🤦‍♀️

  9. I was dumb enough to order 300.00 worth of suits … I’ve received 3 suits and those took a month to receive! I’ve sent emails every day, no response! I’m going to contact my bank next. I’ll never order from FB or IF again.

  10. The same exact thing happened to me. I ordered swimsuit, it didn’t fit right. I tried to return and they wanted me to take measurements and pictures first. I told them I wouldn’t take pictures. They have not returned my email.

  11. Same. I received the 3 suits I ordered, of course, none of them fit. One of them had no structure at the top so it was completely open to my chest, which I told them and they still asked for pictures. One of the bottoms was 10″ smaller than what the measurements were supposed to be. Isn’t there someone out there who is a lawyer and can do something about this fraud? A class action law suit or something? It’s so frustrating!

  12. Terrible experience. Tried to return one of the suits and they told me first it would be $30-$35 to return. In the second email they told me that I didn’t have a good enough reason (item is unused in the original bag and they still wouldn’t let me return it). Do not buy from this company.

  13. M Weerasooriya

I ordered three suits- this is the first time I have ordered from Facebook ads and it will be the last. They shipped 1 of the 3 and since then, customer service keeps telling me to be patient. It is clearly coming from China as the English is suspect- Facebook needs to be accountable for littering our feeds with fake companies. I am super irritated with myself for buying something online through Facebook. If I had said it out loud, I would not have gone on this site.
    Sigh.

    1. I had the same expeeience! I purchased a suit on June 12th and have not received it. All they say is to be patient. I requested a refund and have not heard back. Facebook should be held responsible for putting ads on our feed that are scams.

  14. I had the same experience. Worst company ever! I will be more cautious in the future of who I purchase from online.

  15. These sites need to be banned from social media. I too needed to return the swim suit for an improper fit. I was told I was only going to get a $5.00 refund as the shipping to return the suit to China costs between $25.00 – 30.00. What a complete scam! Buyer Beware!

  16. Cynthia Landrum

The same happened to me! I received my swimsuit and it didn’t fit and the are offering to give me $6 of a $36 purchase or I would have to pay a $30-35 shipping charge to return to China. I have continued to email them about their issues without throughout this whole process. At some point I told them that conducting business saying that you had something in stock and then it be shipped from China is not having it in stock. And they just kept emailing me asking me if I could please wait and and I waited and received it and I’m still not very happy.

  17. The same thing happened to me…. I ordered 2 suits, they billed my credit card and the swim suit never arrived. I will be contacting my credit card company and I would love to report them for fraidy. Their ads pop up on my Facebook feed daily.

    1. This happened to me. I used a debit card and now I’m freaking out. I guess I need to call my bank? I have no idea how to handle this.

  18. Total scam!
I saw the ad on Facebook and followed seeing the deals. I purchased a swimsuit and it did come in the mail in the designated time. Prior to it arriving, I did see the EXACT same suit on a Lilly Pulitzer website for much more. When I say exact, images on both websites and titles were same. The package did not have a matching return address, it just had some address from California. When I opened, first thing I noticed was there was no packing slip. The bathing suit was NOT what I had seen at all . I thought I was purchasing a two piece set, instead it was a one piece suit . It did not fit well either, so I emailed them for an exchange as their “website” requested. They wanted me to take measurements and send pictures to show the problem. I told them I was not going to send pictures of myself. Then , the “customer service” rep told me that if I really wanted an exchange I would have to pay for the very expensive shipping charge back to CHINA. They proceeded to tell me that they thought a refund would be best and I could donate the suit if it didn’t fit as I wanted. When I replied that would work, they would only give back a $4 refund. DO NOT buy from this scam. Found out the hard way and now I am concerned about them having my credit card information.

    1. Same exact thing happened to me!! Only it took 2 months to first receive the shipment! They requested pictures and I said no way..they needed to see “the problem was true” I said I should be able to return just based on the fact I changed my my mind..they offered me a $6 return for 2 swimsuits. I have an open dispute through PayPal which has agreed to refund me the total but I’d have to first ship back to China..ugh so mad at myself for fall for this crap!!! Never again!

  19. Erica Woodward

Yes the same exact thing has happened to me! I thought it was a legitimate company and I also saw it advertised on Instagram, so I assumed it was legitimate. These scams are ridiculous. There should be criminal charges against people that do this sort of thing!

  20. Same as above. I continue to comment on FB and Insta that they are a scam & my comments are promptly removed. I paid with PayPal & I was immediately suspicious of the email address associated with their PayPal account. Instagram needs to do some due diligence with their advertisers. There is no legitimate way to get in touch with them to let them know & this ad pops up in my feed most every day.

  21. I was directed to the Modbikini.com site through a sponsored Instagram ad. The payment process was the usual that I’ve seen and used for other company/brand online purchases so I didn’t see any red flags. But 3 weeks later I still had not received a shipping notification so I emailed them (as per their order confirmation email) and did not get any response. After doing a google search I saw this article and a few other posts on social media about similar issues. I’m currently contacting my credit card company to get a refund. I’ll definitely be more cautious in the future and not use any sites that haven’t been verified.

      1. I ordered 2 days ago and just went into the account I created when ordering ( to see if my order had been posted yet) only to be told there was no account with my email address when signing in.I rang my credit card company after reading this and explained all to them They have now cancelled my card as they said Modbikini have all my info, and they could make further charges!
