StyKnot Review – (Rip-Off Retail Scam)

StyKnot is a misleading discount retail scam site.

Hosted at StyKnot.com, StyKnot pretends to offer a narrow inventory of luxurious, hand made ties, tie accessories and jewelry accompanied with various discounts.

Created less than 2 months ago, StyKnot is a recently engineered retail scam.

To learn more regarding the StyKnot fraud and why consumers are calling StyKnot a scam we invite you to read our honest review.

StyKnot Scam

StyKnot is structure as a minimalist retail site.

No About Us page can be found or any information relating to the business of StyKnot.

Their homepage reflects multiple inventory options ranging from ties, tie accessories and men jewelry.

Not all the products listed for retail at StyKnot are on sale.

Unlike similar retail scams, StyKnot operates with a little more poise in the sense that they don’t reflect astronomical online savings that we’ve grown accustomed to seeing.

Back tracing product images will reveal that most of the tie images featured at StyKnot are the same images used at the established online retailer www.thedarkknot.com.

Contacting StyKnot

StyKnot provides a contact submission form and the following contact info:

Phone: +86 13990273984

Contact: Zhou Hong

Office Address

Room 1602-1, 218 Hengfeng Road, Zhabei District, Shanghai City, 200070 China

A Google Maps search of StyKnot office address will reveal that only partial segments of the address are genuine.

Site History

StyKnot.com was privately registered on August 27th, 2019.

StyKnot failed to reflect web rankings with SimiliarWeb on October 3rd, 2019.

Comparably to other retail scam operations we’ve exposed, we imagine that StyKnot is soliciting and funneling consumers from a variety of misleading advertisements conducted across social hubs like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

StyKnot Reviews

StyKnot does not reflect much community feedback.

What little feedback we did encounter appeared in the form of complaints.

Shared below are a few complaints we found:

“Please please do not DO NOT buy anything from Styknot. They offer low prices just to steal your money and then they will not send the item or reply to your emails or refund you. Horrible. Avoid.”

“Completely a scam company. You will never receive your order. If you use a 3rd party processing company, you will receive a tracking number of a package (really an envelope) that will be sent to a false address in your city (intentionally mislabeled by the styknot.com). USPS will then send the letter (your fake package) back to the sender.”

“Scam site claiming to sell $89 dollar minibikes. Its just a scam to steal your money. theres no way you can buy a minibike for $89. Dont give these thieves your card information.”

These complaints we found at TrustPilot.

Shipping & Returns

StyKnot claims to offer worldwide shipping, exchanges and easy returns.

Estimated shipping durations is between 3 to 8 business days.

No reference to shipping carriers, tracking numbers or purchase orders can be found on their Shipping Page.

As you have recently learned from StyKnot reviews, however, StyKnot does not provide a consumer-friendly exchange policy.

Red Flags

  1. Fails to provide a mission statement or verifiable company info
  2. Reflects product images from other online retailers, not their own
  3. StyKnot reflects negative reviews and complaints at TrustPilot
  4. StyKnot provides a fabricated physical address for site visitors
  5. StyKnot provides incomplete shipping/return/payment information
  6. StyKnot operates with anonymity

Is StyKnot.com a Scam?

Yes, StyKnot.com is a discount retail scam.

StyKnot Scam Review

StyKnot is a dangerous and deceptive retail scam.

Depending upon where you reside may dictate what kind of product offers are featured at StyKnot, for us we encountered men apparel goods and ties but for others they state encountering minibikes and various other outdoor goods.

Finding geo-changing retail sites like StyKnot is not uncommon.

Many illicit and fraudulent online retail sites similar to StyKnot have already further polluted the retail industry, StyKnot is no different in this regard.

If you have been scammed with StyKnot make sure you contact your financial institution, initiate a chargeback and replace your payment card.
